This means that no matter where in Denmark you live, your job center can approve Mentorix courses as 6 weeks of job-oriented training, so it’s free for you as an unemployed person. You can find the positive list in your region via your job center or on STAR.dk.
Online courses - format and access
An accreditation is the same as an approval to, for example, provide a specific service – such as a course. The accreditation is given by an accrediting organisation. It is often also the accrediting organisation that sets the rules and requirements that Mentorix as a course provider must meet in order to call itself an “accredited course provider”. It is also the accrediting organisation that sets the requirements that you as a course participant must meet in order to be certified in e.g. PRINCE2, MSP or something completely 3.
Yes, all our online courses have their own community where you can ask questions to an instructor. You can also view previous questions and answers from other students. In addition, you get access to free weekly webinars and all technical questions can be sent to [email protected]. We also offer 60 minutes of free career coaching as part of all courses.
Classroom: traditional course format where teaching takes place in a physical room. Mentorix uses this form of teaching in connection with education and training directly at companies and organisations.
Virtual teaching: a more modern way of classroom teaching. The only difference is that students and teacher are not (necessarily) sitting in the same room, but are instead connected directly via an online service (e.g. Skype, MS Teams, Zoom, etc.) Mentorix uses this method occasionally.
Online teaching: there are currently two different dominant forms. What they have in common is that they are commonly used as a form of self-study.
Correspondence school or Power Point method, where the course pages are designed as slides.
As virtual teaching, but where the teaching is recorded on video and supported by interactive quizzes and tests. Mentorix uses this method.

Yes, you can usually take the exam from home as long as

computer that meets the requirements.
Examination, certification
Is your certification as good as the one I can get from one of the big course providers?
Yes! It is 100% the same certification.
Mentorix is “Accredited Training Organizations” (ATO) from Axelos, APM Group and Scrum Study (VM Edu). This means that you can be confident that your certificate is valid and that the training and our trainers fully meet the requirements to be accredited.
What do I do if I don't pass the exam?
With the Scrum courses you have 2 free exam attempts. For the other certifications (PRINCE2, MSP, MOR, etc.), you can purchase a Take2 re-site option – here you get 1 extra attempt at the exam.
Re-site option costs DKK 500 plus VAT. It must be purchased when ordering the exam for the first time. That is, you have to decide before you take the exam for the first time.
How does it work to take an online exam?
AXELOS: Online exams are held via ProctorU. When you book your exam, you will receive an email from our exam provider (PeopleCert) with a link to create a user profile with ProctorU. You will also receive a guide. You choose the date and time that suits you. The exam is monitored via webcam. On the day of the exam, you will be guided through from the start, for example in relation to when to show picture ID, show the room you are sitting in etc.
VMEdu (Scrum exams): online exams are held via Webex. When you book your exam, you will receive an email from our exam provider (VMEdu) with a link and password to your profile. You choose the exam date and time that suits you.
Requirements for choosing online exams:
You must have a webcam (if it is a built-in webcam, bring a mirror as the room must be checked before starting)
You need a microphone
You must be able to take the exam in a room without others
You must be able to present a valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport)
How do I book the exam?
When you are ready to take your exam, you have two options:
You can order directly through the platform because the exam is included in the course that you have access to
You can also write an email to
[email protected] with the following information: name, email, which certification and language you want (ex: PRINCE2 Foundation – DK) and any comments (ex: dyslexia). Within 2 business days you will receive an email from us and then an email from the exam provider, PeopleCert, guiding you further.
NOTE! Emails from PeopleCert may end up in spam or junk mail so be sure to check here.
What if I'm worried I won't pass the exam - or that I won't pass the exam?
If you are unlucky enough not to pass your exam, you always have the option to retake the exam. However, there is often an additional examination fee. You can also choose to “insure” yourself by purchasing a double exam attempt. See the rules for the different course providers:
AXELOS (PRINCE2, MSP, ITIL, PRINCE2 Agile, etc.): here you must purchase the “Take2 re-sit option”. This add-on must be purchased when booking your course. If you fail the first exam attempt, you have bought an additional opportunity within 6 months of the first attempt. This purchase can NOT be ordered at a later date. Take2 re-sit option currently costs DKK 500,- + VAT.
SCRUM Study: here you always have two free exam attempts.

6 weeks of job-oriented training is a statutory right you have as an insured unemployed person (member of an unemployment insurance fund) to participate in up to 6 weeks of targeted courses that are on the positive list. It is free for you – the job center pays. You will receive unemployment benefits during the training as usual. You are entitled within the first 9 months of unemployment (under 25 years: 6 months). At Mentorix, you can use your 6-week job-oriented education on all our courses, including PRINCE2, Scrum Master, AI Foundation, Change Management and MSP. All our courses are on the positive list in all 5 regions.
The terms are often confused. 6 weeks of job-oriented training is the current entitlement for insured unemployed (unemployment insurance fund members) to courses from the positive list. 6 weeks of self-selected training was the previous name (before 2015) for the same scheme. Today, ‘job-oriented training’ is used as the official term. The rules are pretty much the same: the course must be on the positive list, you must start within the first 9 months of unemployment, and you receive unemployment benefits during the program. Mentorix is approved under the current scheme in all 5 regions.
The 2026 positive list contains vocational courses that job centers can grant as 6 weeks of job-oriented training. Mentorix’ courses are all on the regional positive list 2026 under the occupational group ‘Academic work’. We offer the following courses on the positive list: PRINCE2 Foundation, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PRINCE2 Agile, Scrum Master, Change Management, AI Foundation (artificial intelligence with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini), AI Specialist, AI Prompt Engineering, MSP (program management) and MOP (portfolio management). All lead to internationally recognized certifications and are 100% online.
